NFL CAREER – Claimed off of waivers from Green Bay at the conclusion of the 2017 preseason by the Saints, Hill has provided value to New Orleans in multiple spots on both offense and special teams. His role continued to expand, as he started four games in place of an injured Drew Brees in 2020 and became the first quarterback in club history to win his first three NFL starts as a signal-caller. In 2022, he excelled in a hybrid role, taking snaps at both the tight end and quarterback positions. Starting eight of 16 contests he appeared in, Hill rushed 96 times for 575 yards and seven touchdowns, had nine receptions for 77 yards and two touchdowns, and completed 13-of-19 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns. Including the postseason, Hill has ten career touchdown passes, 23 rushing touchdowns and 11 career receiving scores, making him the first NFL player since Frank Gifford 1952-64) to reach double-digit totals in passing, rushing and receiving touchdowns. Rushed 96 times for 575 yards (club-best 6.0 avg.) and seven touchdowns, caught nine passes for 77 yards and two TDs and completed 13-of-19 throws for 240 yards and two TDs with a 146.3 passer rating…At Atlanta, Sept. 11, started at TE and saw time at QB and carried four times for a club-best 81 yards and a TD, including a career-long 57-yard rush.
